Abstract

Purpose:This study was attempted in order to be utilized as basic research materials for arranging the effective learning activity in the married nursing student, the efficient support system for the learning process, by grasping subjective experience in the married nursing student and analyzing its significance.

Methods:The data, which was collected through in depth interview and participatory observation, was used van Kaam¡¯s phenomenological analysis method.

Results:36 descriptive expressions were elicited from 69 source materials. They were categorized into 6 common elements. The common elements were indicated to be ¡°adjusting to school life,¡± ¡°financial burden,¡± ¡°fostering family capability,¡± ¡°sorry for lack of a role,¡± ¡°weary double life,¡± ¡°physical suffering.¡±

Conclusion:The married students were feeling the generational difference and the difficulty for necessity of adjusting to new learning method. They were indicated to feel the financial difficulty and the difficulty for distribution of time due to child rearing to be added in the process of schoolwork that is carried out side by side with child rearing, and to endure with proceeding with solidifying mind and fostering power. The married students were indicated to feel sorry for family that does duty for child rearing problem, and to experience physical suffering owing to double life.
